POUPÉE MÉCANIQUE, realized in fact after Archives & Documents, is the first and the only studio experience of DIE FORM. Recorded with outside musicians and female singer, the tracks, prepared in advance were completely recomposed and worked again in a "more commercial" direction, and so, maybe, with a more subversive concept.
Behind misleading appearances of the arrangements hide the same terrors and the same obsessions which will be unlimited developped in all the following works.
With always a preoccupation of integrity and independence, constantly torn between the shadow and the light...

POUPÉE MÉCANIQUE, réalisé en fait après Archives & Documents, fût la première et la seule expérience de studio professionnel de DIE FORM. Enregistrés avec des musiciens et une chanteuse extérieurs, les morceaux préparés à l’avance, furent entièrement recomposés et retravaillés dans une direction plus “commerciale†et ainsi, peut-être, plus subversive.
Derrière des arrangements aux apparences trompeuses, se cachent les mêmes terreurs et les mêmes obsessions qui se développeront sans limites dans tous les travaux à venir.
Avec toujours un souci d’intégrité et d’indépendance, constamment déchiré entre l’ombre et la lumière… |
